Element 3d Texture Problem


Its just when i try and export the whole sequence.

Element 3d texture problem. Im trying to finish up a project but im having trouble with element 3d. Diffuse maps gloss maps reflection maps etc. Yes the texture is uv layer. Hello i am using element 3d and i have all models pack but i have a problem when i use element 3d i see that my 3rd party models have no textures on them.

Everything works fine except i cant get any custom layerstextures to work. Follow along in this tutorial to get it fixed right away and use element 3d without any problems at all. No matter what technique i use to assign a custom layer or texture to a piece of the model the textures show up in the assign texture window but wont show up in the scene setup window or in. I found the problem and a work around.

Any advice would be much appreciated thanks. Finally try adding lights to the comp and put them at about 100 to see if it affects it at all. Textures are usually 2d maps applied to materials. If you have a full 3d program c4d 3ds max etc you can import the object into it select the polygons that are facing backwards and reverse the normals.

If i remove the null and do all the keyframing with elements controls all works fine. And i really want to use those models. Texture mapping this adjusts how your texture wraps around your object. I work for tv anyone help me.

After effects cc 2014 and element 3d v202. Its very strange and ive never had this problem. For more info and uses for auto normals and edge threshold see 3d object troubleshooting and exporting 3d objects for element 3d. The main two i can think of is that your environment map is all black thereby not having anything to reflect onto the physical shader textures.

Still images as the diffuse texture render perfectly fine and weirdly enough exporting out a single frame from the sequence also renders normally. Fix reversed normals in a 3d program. This fix works for element 3d used in adobe after effects cs6. Anyone else run into this problem.

There are box sphere plane and per polygon mapping options under the dropdown. The environment lighting may also be turned right down meaning there isnt anything to light with.
